HIGH SCHOOL

The Advanced Technologies Academy

Las Vegas, NV

At Advanced Technologies Academy, a magnet-only high school, I pursued additional coursework in graphic design. Graduating with high honors in 2002, I earned a 4.16 GPA and a certificate in Graphic Design, providing me with a solid foundation in design principles that I have been able to apply to my professional work.

CERTIFICATION

Comptia A+

I earned my CompTIA A+ certification, which validated my knowledge and skills in PC troubleshooting, networking, and security. While I already had a solid foundation in most of the topics covered by the certification, I further refined my expertise by taking relevant college courses and supplementing my learning with online resources, including PluralSight courses and LinkedIn Learning videos. Through my self-study and hands-on experience, I gained a comprehensive understanding of hardware, software, and operating systems, as well as best practices for maintenance, repair, and security.
