Where I'm From
Born in Las Vegas, NV I've lived my whole life in my hometown. I'm a rarity in this city as I'm a fourth generation local in a city of transients. I grew up in downtown Las Vegas, near the Fremont Street Experience, and have seen the city change and grow from a population of 400,000 to almost 2,900,000.
I was well behaved in my youth and being raised by a disabled mother, I took on many responsibilities while young. In school, I was always one of the top students in my class. I edited and did layout for the school newspaper and served in many clubs and student council. My first job was washing dishes at 14 years old and I played varsity tennis after school every year.

A Happy Home Life
In Las Vegas most people look for Lady Luck in the casinos, but I found her when I met my wife. Together, we've built a home that I'm proud is ours. Our children have both moved out of the house with our youngest currently attending college with greater aspirations than parents could hope for. Since both of us are animal lovers, we may have gone overboard with our pets, boasting two dogs, a cat and a bearded dragon in the home with us.
Home is a place I've always felt you should feel comfortable in. We've made our home into our castle and continue to work to improve it. We tackle projects as a family and love to visit parks, go on hikes and visit new places.

Hobbies and Interests
I do my best to stay active and regularly hit the gym and do my best to spend some of my free time outdoors. Having a Siberian Husky keeps me out of the house looking for trails and new places to go on outdoor adventures. Spending times at parks, barbequing and visiting family are part of our routine.
I'm a movie fan who still collects DVDs and Blu-Rays and showcases them in my home. Music is usually on somewhere around and I rarely stick to one genre as I find great music in every genre... "No music, no life." I still play video games if I can find the time but am more often trying to pursue new hobbies and am always searching for my next tech toy to play with.
Building computers is something I've always enjoyed and I'm a bit of a tinkerer when it comes to electronics in general. Repairing broken phones is something I've been playing with recently and I generally try to fix something before I throw it away or replace it. 3D modeling and printing is a new passion of mine and learning CAD software and design has been a daunting experience I've dove into head on.
Learning something new is a hobby itself and something I actively try to ensure I'm doing, even if it's something small.
